After comprehensive civil works in 1997 the castle opened its gates as a hotel. Today it reflects the spirit of the baroque luxury the Dukes of Mecklenburg used to relish. The magnificent stucco ceilings of the interior have been manufactured by Italian masters over a period of 8 years. All in all, the stucco ceiling is about 1600m² large and so unique in Europe. At all our stylish and rooms you will find peace and relaxation for today´s bustle.

Hotel information

The hotel features a restaurant located in an historic basement vault, a bar, conference rooms for up to 100 people, sauna, solarium and the beauty area "Sans Soucis". If you wish to be active during your holidays, we provide you with bicycles and maps of the Lewitz nature reserve. Experience the pure nature around the hotel or visit the castles in Ludwigslust, Güstrow or Schwerin. The public theatre in Schwerin or Parchim are also always worth a visit.

Food & Beverage

In addition to the hotel bar we provide a historic vault restaurant. At the "Wallenstein´s" the chef and his team prepares classic German cuisine, elected wines and attentive service. The restaurant has been certificated by the "Feinschmecker" journal and classified as recommendable.

Breakfast is not included and costs EUR 13.00 per person.
